Gamut Theatre Group has a long history with this dark, disturbing classic. For over 20 years, we have produced it on our main-stage, as well as toured it all over the Pennsylvania region. Now, we are very excited to bring its fatal vision to our sizable outdoor summer home, Reservoir Park. Sean Adams (Macduff) Gamut Core Company, 2005-2006. She takes vocal lessons with David Glasgow and also enjoys cheerleading. Andrew Nyberg (Banquo/Scenic Designer) is a part of Gamut’s Core Company as the resident Technical Director and Scenic Designer. Macbeth marks his 6th Free Shakespeare in the Park production, having appeared in The Merry Wives of Windsor (Doctor Caius), Troilus & Cressida (Ulysses), Antony & Cleopatra (Enobarbus), Measure for Measure (Angelo), and Romeo & Juliet (Tybalt). Other credits at Gamut include Coriolanus (Coriolanus), My Name is Asher Lev (Asher Lev), and Twelfth Night (Malvolio). In addition to being an actor, Thomas is the Associate Artistic Director at Gamut and has directed Gamut's recent productions of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, and Anton Chekhov's The Seagull. Thomas holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Otterbein University. He would like to thank Clark and Melissa, his family, and, of course, his cat, Henry.

Franklin L. Henley Jr. (Ross) is a Harrisburg native and an actor, director, poet and Founder/Artistic Director of Narçisse Theatre Company. He also performed in Gamut's The Lion in Winter as Geoffrey and The Seagull as Shamraev. Frank also wrote and directed Hear the Voice, Be the Voice for Gamut's Stage Door Series and Sartre's No Exit for NTC.

Patrick Hughes (Doctor) last performed Shakespeare on Gamut’s stage as Launcelot in The Merchant of Venice, some fifteen years ago. He holds an MA in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University. He recently relocated to south central Pennsylvania after a dozen years in the Boston area. This past winter, with Open Stage of Harrisburg, he played Fred in A Christmas Carol and Kraler in The Diary of Anne Frank.  He is a licensed counselor and is the current ethics chair of the North American Drama Therapy association.  He is the newest member of the Gamut TMI improv troupe.

Jeffrey "Jack" Rensch (Lennox) is excited to be working again with Gamut Theatre’s annual Shakespeare in the Park production.  Jeffrey’s stage experience ranges from classical to contemporary including; The Merry Wives of Windsor, Red Velvet, Twelfth Night, Troilus and Cressida, Antony and Cleopatra, A Christmas Story, Coriolanus, The Dresser, Measure for Measure and Death of a Salesman.  He has also appeared in TV commercials, art-house creations and corporate training videos.  Many thanks to an amazingly talented director, cast, and crew … break a leg!

Karen Ruch (Hecate/Porter/Old Man/3rd Murderer/Seyton) has worked with several Central PA companies both on and off stage. Karen recently directed As She Likes It for Gamut Theatre’s Stage Door Series. Onstage roles include Witch (Macbeth), Eleanor (The Lion in Winter), Falstaff (Henry IV), Columbina (A Company of Wayward Saints), Gertrude (Hamlet), Paulina (Winter’s Tale), Coryn (Gideon’s Knot), Elizabeth (Richard III), Ann (Bill W & Dr Bob), Emma (The Normal Heart), Christmas Present (A Christmas Carol). She directed The Tempest (2004), Lysistrata (2009), Romeo and Juliet (2012), and Antony and Cleopatra (2014) for Harrisburg Shakespeare Company;  A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Hershey Area Playhouse; and The Diary of Anne Frank (2013) for Open Stage of Harrisburg. Karen has also been a Stage Manager for Open Stage of Harrisburg, Gamut’s mainstage productions and Free Shakespeare in the Park.

Noah Smull (Young Siward) is 15 years old and a freshman at the Capital Area School For The Arts. Noah has been taking classes at the Gamut Theatre Academy since he was seven, and is very excited to be a part of this production of Macbeth. Some previous roles Noah has played are The Fairy Godfather in Cinderella, Boris in Dirty Laundry, and Marc in Art.

Brennan Watt (Angus/First Murderer/King 5) has been in a few of Shakespeare’s works, such as Coriolanus and Troilus and Cressida. He has performed at Gamut Theatre over the last five years and is excited to return to Free Shakespeare in the Park for Macbeth.

Past roles include PHP Young Acting Company: The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz (Wizard), Snow White (Hubert); Gamut Theatre: Choose Your Own Adventure: Space Vampire (Osprey), Romeo and Juliet (Benvolio); Theatre Harrisburg: A Christmas Story (Ralphie). He is in Gamut Theatre's Performance Class and attends Stagedoor Manor Theatre Camp. He is a freshman at Hershey High School and appeared in the high school show, You Can't Take It With You as Mr. DePinna. Big thanks to the cast and crew for making this a wonderful experience!
