Basic Internship (Non-paid)

 Applications are accepted year-round.

Our basic internship gives the student an introduction to theatre management, technical theatre, and production work. Usually educational credit and/or community volunteer hours requirements can be obtained in exchange for the student’s experience at Gamut Theatre. Hours are very flexible, but must be consistent (i.e. come to the theatre every Tue./Thurs. from 1-4 PM for one semester, work every day from 9-3 for one week, etc.) It is more structured than simply volunteering to work at the theatre.

Requirements:

  • Must be available on a consistent basis

  • Must be at least 15 years old

  • Must arrange an interview with Gamut Theatre Personel

To arrange an interview, send a completed Basic Internship Application and a cover letter explaining why you would like to intern at Gamut Theatre Group to: ATTN: BASIC INTERNSHIPS, Gamut Theatre Group, 15 N. Fourth Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101
