POPCORN HAT CAMP

Monday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
AGES 6 - 12
This camp is taught by the Popcorn Hat Players and teaches children a general knowledge of the theatre while having lots of fun! Enhance communication skills and develop self-confidence, imagination, creativity, and make new friends. All classes are held at Gamut Theatre. Drop off is as early as 12:45 pm and pick up as late as 5:30 pm. The summer camp will culminate with a short performance featuring the students on Friday, August 18, 5:00 - 6:00 pm.

Our Teachers are Fun and Friendly! In addition to being excellent instructors, all of our teaching staff are professional actors at Gamut Theatre and enrich the learning experience by being successful working artists, an excellent resource for our students.
Team Gamut! You will work within small groups of like-minded students on supervised projects, activities, and games, interacting in a professional manner while having space to socialize. Team-building is key to create a successful theatre ensemble. Even if you are shy or have had no experience, everyone is welcome to Team Gamut.
Opportunity to Act! You will work on a short play with other students to present at the end of the week for family and friends.
Make New Friends! And reconnect with old ones. We know that these past two years have been strange for everyone. Here’s your chance to meet kids from other schools and communities while working on common goals.
Cost of Camp
$250 paid at time of registration or one $125 deposit at registration and the other $125 on the first day of camp.
You may pay online with Credit Card, but an online convenience fee will be charged. You may also mail a check in advance to Gamut Theatre (15 N Fourth Street, Harrisburg PA 17101). If mailing, please include a letter stating student name, parent name, and which camp the payment is for.

REGISTER EARLY to avoid being disappointed by camp being filled. Registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Complete forms in full. A deposit of 50% must be included; payment in full at the time of registration is preferred. All registrations must be paid in full by the 1st day of session that student is attending. You may register online using the button below. After filling out the form, please pay online at the link provided (processing fees apply), or mail cash/check to the theatre. Registrations are not processed until forms and deposits are received!
CANCELLATION POLICY: If a registered student is unable to attend Popcorn Hat Players’ Camp, you must notify the office immediately in order to get a credit to Gamut Theatre. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Are you in need of financial assistance to attend a Gamut Theatre Education Program? Contact our Office Manager at gamut.office@gmail.com to ask for a scholarship application.
Scholarship applications are due on May 15th. Any applications received after that will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis but assistance is not guaranteed.
Scholarship applications will be reviewed at the end of May, and all decisions regarding scholarships will be communicated with applicants no later than June 9th.
