AGES 6 - 12

This camp is taught by the Popcorn Hat Players and teaches children a general knowledge of the theatre while having lots of fun! Students at PHP Camp develop communication skills, self-confidence, imagination, and creativity all while making new friends. All classes are held at Gamut Theatre. Drop off is as early as 12:45 pm and pick up as late as 5:30 pm. The summer camp will culminate with a short performance featuring the students on the evening of the last day of camp!

PHP CAMP REGISTRATION

Why take PHP Camp?

  • Our Teachers are Fun and Friendly! In addition to being excellent instructors, all of our teaching staff are professional actors at Gamut Theatre and enrich the learning experience by being successful working artists, an excellent resource for our students.

  • Team Gamut! You will work within small groups of like-minded students on supervised projects, activities, and games, interacting in a professional manner while having space to socialize. Team-building is key to create a successful theatre ensemble. Even if you are shy or have had no experience, everyone is welcome to Team Gamut.

  • Opportunity to Act! You will work on a short play with other students to present at the end of the week for family and friends.

  • Make New Friends! And reconnect with old ones. Here’s your chance to meet kids from other schools and communities while working on common goals.

Cost of Camp

$300.00

Complete the registration form in full. A 50% deposit will be due to complete registration. Your registration is not complete until we receive a deposit or payment in full. All registrations must be paid in full by Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 1:00 PM. You may register online using the button below. Registrations are not processed until the registration form is complete and a deposit is received!

CANCELLATION POLICY: If a registered student is unable to attend Popcorn Hat Players’ Camp, you must notify the office immediately in order to get a credit to Gamut Theatre. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Are you in need of financial assistance to attend a Gamut Theatre Education Program? Contact our Office Manager at gamut.office@gmail.com to ask for a scholarship application.

  • Scholarship applications are due on May 15th, 2026. Any applications received after that will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis but assistance is not guaranteed.

  • Scholarship applications will be reviewed at the end of May, and all decisions regarding scholarships will be communicated with applicants no later than June 9th.
