STUDENT AUDITIONS
THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE

PERFORMANCE DATES: November 14 - December 6, 2026
AUDITION DATES: May 23, May 30, and June 7, 2026
All students are welcome and encouraged to audition and need no prior experience. Gamut Theatre is an ADA-accessible facility, and we endeavor to make reasonable accommodations to facilitate access. If you need accommodations or require assistance, please contact us.
There are two sets of Auditions for LWW. A student may audition for a PRINCIPAL SPEAKING ROLE or the CAST ENSEMBLE. Please consult the AUDITION INFO for detailed information.
All students who wish to audition MUST register using the registration form found at the bottom of the page.
PARENT/STUDENT CHECKLIST
BEFORE your student signs up for an audition, please download and read the AUDITION INFO letter.
Fill out the audition registration form (below) with the date you want to audition. Students ages 6-7 may only audition May 30; Student Actors ages 8-18 may choose to either do the Monologue Audition on May 23 or June 7, or the General Audition on May 30. See AUDITION INFO for specific times.
Download and print the AUDITION FORM and be sure to fill out BOTH SIDES of the form and bring it with you to the auditions.
AUDITION DAY
EVERYONE: Bring a head and shoulders photo (school photo is fine)
EVERYONE: Bring the completed AUDITION FORM
EVERYONE: Arrive at least 15 minutes before audition appointment to allow time for check-in. Auditions begin promptly on time.
GENERAL AUDITIONS on May 30: Students do not need to prepare anything but should be ready to speak loudly and clearly on the stage independently and be ready to learn a simple dance in a group setting. Wear clothes for movement and comfort (no dresses, skirts, heels)
MONOLOGUE AUDITIONS on May 23 or June 7: Students should prepare a memorized monologue at least 10 lines in length, but no more than 1-2 minutes when performed.
After the Audition, participants will be notified via email by June 25, 2026.
